Hi

I know this is not really a problem with TV Shack but I was hoping someone here might a clue whats going on. Basically everytime I try and watch a megavideo video on full screen my system crash's after about 5-10 minutes. This doesn't happen with other video sites. I recently reformated my pc and while it worked for a bit, now it happens everytime. I'm wondering if maybe there's a codec or something I have forgotten to install.

thanks.

It sounds more like a Codec you did install and it got corrupted somehow, It normally wouldnt crash if it was cause it was missing a codec, it just wouldnt play properly, try reinstalling whatever codec megavideo uses, im to lazy to find out atm, but it might help the problem.

Thanks. Actually I hadn't d/l any codecs apart from whatever comes with VLC player. I did try the latest flash player and klite but no joy. I'm starting to think it might be a hardware issue but I just don't get why it would only affect megavideo...

It would be due to hardware, your display driver in a more direct manor.

There are no codecs associated with Adobe Flash Player, which already contains the modules which the player(s) use to decode the FLV movies played on it. Also, any other special parameters or possible encoding would take place on the Megavideo (or any parent) video player.

Try obtaining the correct, and or current drivers for your video card. Then, try uninstalling, and reinstalling Adobe Flash Player.
