How To Add A Link To TV Shack

This is a simple guide to explain the process of adding a link to TV Shack, it may seem really obvious to some but to others they may need help so this is where they'll get it. You must be registered on the main site before attempting to post a link. Unless you are registered on the main site you will not be able to add anything. Make sure you read this entire thread if your planning on submitting links, especially the very bottom portion about formatting titles, and so on.

Finding links

The first thing you need to decide is what you want to add to TV Shack. Have you come across a TV show, a movie or some documentaries maybe? Whichever it is you need to be certain that the URL you are going to add to TV Shack is the URL to the source site that the video is on. By source site we mean the site that hosts the video file. Below are the ones supported/accepted by TV Shack:

Posting Links

Once you have logged in, click the Submit a link button in the menu top right. If you click this it will take you to the channel option screen. Here you need to choose which channel the link belongs in. Once you have clicked on the relevant channel button you can then paste the URL in the form, enter the correct link details and submit. You're Done!

Movie/TV Show/Anime Information:
All movie submissions should match the movie name and year on imdb.com
So please copy and paste the IMDb link into the form, e.g.: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109830/

All TV (and anime) shows must be in tvrage.com format (not imdb.com format)
Meaning use the same TV Show name, seasons/episodes as shown on TV Rage, eg:
The Office (US) = Incorrect
The Office = Correct
The Office (UK) = Correct

So please check TV Rage for the correct show title, season, and episode numbers. Otherwise, you can also use the "» Add a link" thats available on the very bottom of Alternate Links for existing videos and it will fill that in for you with the correct information.

For Movies and TV, only full movies and full TV episodes are accepted. DO NOT SUBMIT TRAILERS OR PROMOS, ONLY THE FULL REAL VIDEO!

Music Information:
All Artist/Group and song names should be from last.fm.
Fray = Incorrect
The Fray = Correct
The Red Hot Chili Peppers = Incorrect
Red Hot Chili Peppers = Correct

So please check last.fm for correct artist/group and song names.
